Welmont Preschool Programs empower and encourage each child to grow in a safe, healthy & colourful environment. It helps them to achieve important milestones for a confident future.
20 months
onwards
At Welmont, we understand that this is the first time your child will be away from you.
We create a nurturing environment for your child to learn, grow and explore the world outside home. Through play, children develop important social and emotional skills such as sharing, taking turns, and collaborating with others.
Your child will begin to build their vocabulary, learn foundational mathematical skills, use simple reasoning to explain everyday occurrences, and have opportunities to learn how to make friends, co-operate and listen.
3 years
onwards
This program is a holistic approach to engage your child meaningfully. The focus is on developing foundational skills in language and communication, pre-literacy, and numeracy.
With the support, safety and security of our faculty who are specialised in nursery schooling, your child will begin to learn how to share resources, regulate their emotions, and independently make choices.
Learning takes place through storytelling, art & craft, music & movement, and other engaging activities. At Welmont playing outdoors, which helps your child to connect with nature, is central to the curriculum.
4 years
onwards
Junior Kindergarten forms the basic building blocks for further primary education. We use a play-based approach for learning that encourages exploration, experimentation, and problem-solving.
Through a combination of structured and unstructured activities, your child will develop essential skills such as language and literacy, maths, science, art, and physical fitness
Through enjoyable activities, your child will be encouraged to be active, verbalise their feelings, develop a sense of confidence, and interact with one another while being gentle and respectful.
5 years
onwards
At our Senior Kindergarten program, your child will be given opportunities to grow in responsibility and assume roles as a leader, observer, and contributor. Emphasis is laid on building and applying strong concepts that your child has learnt in previous years. With a special focus on phonetics and vocabulary, your child will also learn to read and write confidently.
We encourage children to be active and engaged learners, where children feel comfortable taking risks and exploring their interests. They will also have opportunities to develop their creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
At the end of the Senior Kindergarten year, your child will be eager to step into primary school with the required academic and social skills.
